The Nissan Frontier has been around Chambersburg, PA for some time, and it's done well because of its athleticism, capability and practicality. For 2022, Nissan is pushing the envelope with this pickup truck. It's given the Frontier a comprehensive redesign to give it a more modern look on the inside and outside, as well as upgrading its capabilities.

Exterior and Interior Features

This truck has a strong, sculpted appearance. It has square fenders and a blocky frame, and it certainly looks like it can handle any challenge. Its narrow LED lights complement the slightly understated grille. Nissan must have figured out that it didn't need to make anything oversized or particularly showy in order to make this truck stand out on the roads around Carlisle.

Inside the cabin of the Frontier, you can have either an 8.0-inch or 9.0-inch touchscreen, making it a strong competitor in terms of technology. Squared-off components, such as the air vents and glove compartment, match the fender design on the exterior of the truck.

To keep it more peaceful in the cabin as you drive around Hanover, the Frontier now has acoustic laminated glass that blocks out some of the road and engine noise. Plus, the 2022 Frontier comes with hydraulic cab mounts to reduce vibrations and make the drive through Hagerstown a little smoother.

Safety System

You'll appreciate that the Frontier can now be equipped with a full set of driver-assist technologies. It can have automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning and adaptive cruise control, in addition to some other systems.

New Trim

There's a new trim that Mechanicsburg customers can consider. It's the PRO-X®. It has rugged stylings and comes with a steel skid plate, Bilstein shocks and all-terrain tires. Note that the PRO-X® is a two-wheel drive model.
